Ajay Says KJo Was His Sworn Enemy Once Upon A Time

Actor Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rohit Shetty will be seen marking their presence in an upcoming episode of the famous talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’.

On Monday, host Karan Johar took to social media and shared the episode’s promo in which Ajay and Rohit are seen in a fun mood.

Ajay’s answers during the rapid fire game left Karan amazed.

Karan asked Ajay, “Do you have a sworn enemy in the industry and if it is, who?”

In no time, Ajay took Karan’s name.

“Once upon a time, you,” he said.

Karan held his throat in response and said, “I got such a shock”.

Karan also asked Ajay, “In the Devgan household, what would be the most common reason if Kajol is not talking to you?” The actor replied, “Waiting for that day.”

If reports are to be believed, Karan and Kajol’s friendship hit a rough patch in 2016 when there was a box office clash between Karan’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay’s Shivaay.

Karan talked about it in his biography, An Unsuitable Boy, and wrote, “I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years. I don’t think she deserves me. I feel nothing for her anymore.”

However, a few years later, the two rekindled their relationship.

Earlier, in one of the episodes of the ongoing season, Karan talked about his rift with Kajol. He said, “It happened years later, with Kajol, which was also like such an emotional bond. We felt we would never be together, both landed up. I remember messaging Kajol when my babies were born and we haven’t spoken in two years. I just sent her images of Yash and Roohi. I said you don’t need to reply but these are what my children look like – Yash and Roohi. She messaged back and she said, I am just full of love right now. Month later, she said it’s my birthday, you don’t have to come but i went. We hugged, we cried and it was done.”

KJo Announces New Season Of ‘Koffee With Karan’

Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to bring forth a new season of Koffee with Karan Season 8 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Karan took to Instagram to announce his new show with a trailer video. He wrote, “Turns out, my own Konscience wants to troll me too! But screw what he thinks, I’m still brewing Season 8! #HotstarSpecials #KoffeeWithKaran Season 8 – streams from 26th October only on @disneyplushotstar!”

In the video, Karan can be seen talking to his own fake avatar about the changes he can do in the new season.

In this season Karan will bring out the fun and no-filter side of the actors.

Sharing his excitement for the show Karan Johar said, “We all know you have been eagerly awaiting for the new season of Koffee with Karan – and your wishes have been heard! After the overwhelming response and a lot of conjectures from season 7, this season let’s make my friends and your favourite celebrities spill their secrets along with the no-filter conversations on the infamous Koffee couch. Koffee With Karan Hamper, Revealed

One question that literally every ‘Koffee with Karan’ fan wants to know, is ‘what is there in the Koffee hamper?’. And finally, on Monday, Karan revealed all the gifts that were given to the guests in the big coveted Rapid Fire Koffee hamper.

Taking to its Instagram handle, Disney+Hotstar shared a video featuring the host of the KWK show explaining the contents of this season’s Koffee with Karan Hamper.

In the eight-minute-long video, the Karan listed all the products that the hamper winners of Season 7’s rapid-fire round took home.

He started showing the first gift which was the chand bali earrings by Tyaani Jewellery, Marshall Acton II Speakers, Audi Espresso Mobile, Amazon Echo Show 10, Vahdam Tea and Tea Maker Set, Neuhaus Chocolates’ Collection Discovery Box, Bombay Sweet Shop, Khoya Sweet, 28 Baker Street, Koffee With Karan mug and many more luxurious goodies.

The hamper also includes one of Karan’s favorite fragrances, a limited-edition beverage, and designer home accessories. Karan also said there are products that he can’t reveal. He stated, “may not be able to give too many details about, those are for branding purposes.”

KWK: Gauri’s Dating Advice To Suhana Is Hilarious But Apt

All speculations have been put to rest! Gauri Khan is indeed coming to ‘Koffee With Karan’ and the news has been confirmed by the man himself!

In the past few weeks, rumours of Gauri coming to the next episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ were abuzz. Now Karan Johar has confirmed the news with a sneak peek of the upcoming episode featuring Gauri and her “BFFs” Bhavana Panday and Maheep Kapoor.
In the promo, Karan asks Gauri what dating advice she would pass on to her daughter Suhana, and she responds by saying “never date two boys at the same time”, after which Karan burst out laughing.

Karan further asks Gauri which film’s title would be apt to describe her and SRK’s love story and she responds saying, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”!

Maheep Kapoor was also in her element. In another glimpse, Karan asks Maheep about an actor she thinks she would look good with, and she responds by saying, “Hrithik Roshan”, leaving everyone in splits.

Gauri, Maheep, and Bhavana have been friends for years. They last appeared together in Netflix’s ‘Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives’ alongside Seema Sajdeh and Neelam Kothari.

Their kids Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, and Ananya Panday are also childhood best friends. They often share photos with each other.

Gauri made her Koffee With Karan debut in 2005.

Meanwhile, Gauri is all set to come up with her decor show titled ‘Dream Homes With Gauri Khan’.

In the show, Gauri will be seen redesigning and renovating some of her celebrity friends’ houses, including the likes of Katrina Kaif, Malaika Arora, Manish Malhotra, Farah Khan and filmmaker Kabir Khan. The show marks Gauri’s television foray.

Apart from being a designer, Gauri is also a producer. She has been credited as a producer in several Hindi movies, including Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, Darlings and Chennai Express. (ANI)

Anil Shares How Insecure He Was With Jackie Shroff’s Success

While… The “N” bomb was dropped again in the latest episode of “Koffee With Karan.” The host sparked the nepotism debate-outsider vs star kid with Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. Anil revealed that he was insecure about Jackie Shroff’s success.

During the almost hour-long show, conversations among the guests and the host swung from topics of infidelity, and role-playing to nepotism, and much more.
Anil Kapoor revealed that he was insecure about Jackie’s success after he bagged the big project under Subhash Ghai’s banner.

When Karan Johar asked the ‘Mr. India’s actor, about his view on Nepotism.

Anil said, “I just don’t take it seriously. I feel you just keep doing your work and your work speaks. This is a kind of question, especially if you are an actor, you can’t pass on that legacy to your brother or son. You either have it or you don’t. I remember when I started, there was Sunny (Deol), Sanju (Sanjay Dutt).”

Karan Johar interrupted him and brought Jackie’s (Jackie Shroff) name. To which Anil responded, he was an outsider but he got his big break with a Subhash Ghai film and he became an A-lister just with the announcement.

He said, at that time, he was doing big roles and South Indian films and I did feel, you know kind of not feeling good about it. Yaar why. The day I signed a Yash Chopra film, I felt like now I am fine.”

Karan asked, “Did you feel insure about Jackie’s success at that time.”

Anil admitted that by saying, yeah he became a huge success. And I remember so well and he was such a sweet guy. When we were shooting, whenever he used to get the autograph book, he always passed it to me to sign first.

However, these discussions might sound like Koffee staples to the regular audience of the show however, in an interesting turn of events, there was a new segment for which Anil and Varun played marriage gurus and shared advice with callers.

The first person on the call asked for advice from Anil regarding how to spice up his sex life, to which Varun recommended trying ashwagandha and practicing making love at least three times a week.

Another caller rang in to ask Varun for advice about how to get intimate with his wife while living in a small house with family members. To this, Varun said, “I think when you are in your room, play some romantic music and it will also help with the mood.”

This was followed by the rapid-fire round where the ‘Badlapur’ actor kept taking Arjun Kapoor’s name as his answer for a number of questions.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anil will be next seen in an aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’ alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film’s official release date is still awaited.

Varun, on the other hand, will next be seen in ‘Bawaal’ opposite Janhvi Kapoor. He also has ‘Bhediya’ opposite Kriti Sanon in the offing. (ANI)
