Rakul Preet Opens Up On Films In Different Languages

Actor Rakul Preet Singh, who has done several films in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil has opened up about her upcoming projects.

“This is a really exciting phase for me as an actor, I’m really glad to be getting opportunities to do films across languages. I’m immensely thankful for the diverse languages of cinema that allow me to speak to hearts across linguistic borders. It’s a joy for me to connect with audiences from all walks of life through the magic of storytelling,” she said.

Rakul said all her upcoming films are in different languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and multilingual films like ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Ayalaan.’

“There are many more films that are currently under wraps but will soon be out, and I cannot be more excited for it! I can’t wait for my fans to experience it and I just hope that they continue showing me love like they always have,” she said.

Singh who made her acting debut with Kannada film ‘Gilli’ (2009) has worked in Telugu film ‘Venkatadri Express’ and Tamil film ‘Thadaiyara Thaakka’. She was next seen in Tamil and Telugu films like ‘Loukyam’ (2014), ‘Pandaga Chesko’ (2015), ‘Sarrainodu’ (2016), ‘Dhruva’ (2016), ‘Nannaku Prematho’ (2016).

She entered Hindi cinema with the comedy ‘Yaariyan’ (2014). She has primarily acted in Hindi films, such as the romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’ (2019), the drama ‘Runway 34’ (2022), and ‘Doctor G’ (2022).

Rakul has ‘Ayalaan,’ ‘Indian 2’ and certain other films that are currently kept under wraps. (ANI)

First Look of Rakul Preet’s ‘I Love You’ Unveiled

Actors Rakul Preet Singh and Pavail Gulati are all set to come up with a new project titled ‘I Love You’.

‘I Love You’ promises to be a gripping narrative with an adrenaline-pumping cinematic experience.

Presented by Jio Studios, an Athena Production produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Sunir Kheterpal, Gaurav Bose and directed by Nikhil Mahajan, ‘I Love You’ will be out on Jio Cinema.

The makers recently unveiled the first look of the romantic thriller.

In the teaser, Pavail is seen playing an obsessed lover who goes to extreme lengths, including stalking when in love with Rakul’s character.

Apart from ‘I Love You’, Rakul was recently seen in ‘Boo’, a horror-comedy.

The film is directed by AL Vijay. It revolves around Singh’s character Kiara whose Halloween celebration with her friends turns spooky when spine-chilling events start taking place, as they read a book on supernatural occurrences. (ANI)

Rakul Preet Congratulates RRR Team For Golden Globe Win

Actor Rakul Preet Singh who is gearing up for the upcoming social comedy film ‘Chhatriwali’ on Thursday congratulated the team ‘RRR’ for winning the Best Original Song Golden Globe Award for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’.

Speaking to ANI, Rakul Preet Singh shared her happiness about RRR Golden Globe win. She said, “I am very proud that an Indian Telugu film illuminates the name of our country by going to the international level. In fact, I have worked with Ram Charan and Jr NTR. It’s just a very happy moment. When such incidents happen, our country also comes together and suddenly it becomes an Indian industry. This a very special thing and I hope more films get recognition at the International level.”

‘Naatu Naatu’ won the award for Best Original Score at the 80th Golden Globe Awards.

‘Naatu Naatu’ a dance number featuring stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan was pitted against Taylor Swift’s ‘Carolina’ from Where the Crawdads Sing, ‘Ciao Papa’ from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Lady Gaga’s ‘Hold My Hand’ from Top Gun: Maverick, and ‘Lift Me U’ from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, performed by Rihanna.

Naatu Naatu was shot in Ukraine over a period of 20 days. It took 43 retakes before the final cut of the song was approved.

This lyrical composition of ‘Naatu Naatu’ by MM Keeravani, high energy rendition by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, unique choreography by Prem Rakshith, and lyrics by Chandrabose are all the elements that make this ‘RRR’ mass anthem a perfect dance craze.

The song was also released in Hindi as ‘Naacho Naacho’, in Tamil as ‘Naattu Koothu’, in Kannada as ‘Halli Naatu’ and in Malayalam as ‘Karinthol’. Its Hindi version was sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Vishal Mishra.

Meanwhile, RRR’s director SS Rajamouli and the film’s lead stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan marked their presence at the 2023 Golden Globes ceremony along with ‘Naatu Naatu’ composer MM Keeravaani. (ANI)
