Kajol Celebrates 14 Years Of ‘My Name Is Khan’

Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer drama film ‘My Name is Khan’ turned 14 on Monday.

To mark the occasion, Kajol took to Instagram and shared a post that she captioned, “Reflecting on the journey of Rizwan and Mandira, and the countless lives they’ve touched.. Celebrating the enduring power of love and unity.. #14yearsofmynameiskhan.”

Helmed by Karan Johar, the film was released in the year 2010 and was declared a blockbuster.

Shah Rukh received a lot of appreciation for his performance in the film.

In the film, SRK portrayed an Indian Muslim in America named Rizwan Khan, who suffers from Asperger’s syndrome. Kajol played the character of Mandira, an independent, single mother who marries Rizwan. Their happy life turns upside down post the September 11 attacks in New York City.

Apart from Shah Rukh’s brilliant acting, the film is also known for its soulful songs like ‘Tera Sajda’, ‘Tere Naina’, ‘Noor-e-khuda’.

SRK and Kajol are among the most loved on-screen pairs. They have together appeared in films like ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayengee’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.

Meanwhile, SRK ruled the box office in 2023 with three s hits Pathaan (in January), Jawaan (in September) and Dunki (in December).

He has still not announced his next projects.

Kajol, on the other hand, recently wrapped up shooting for her next film ‘Do Patti’.

The ‘Baazigar’ actor took a stroll down memory lane and dropped a picture on Instagram.

In the photo, she can be seen sitting on the Kartavya Path and posing with a bright smile. She wore a T-shirt and jeans with sneakers.

‘Truly A Journey’: Kajol Celebrates One Year Of ‘Salaam Venky’

As the family entertainer film ‘Salaam Venky’ completed one year today, actor Kajol expressed gratitude for the “vastly educating experience”.

Taking to Instagram, Kajol shared a string of pictures featuring herself and Revathy to mark this day.

Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “To the highs and lows, to the vastly educating experience and all the endearment.. This film was truly a journey that will be in our hearts forever. Helmed by Revathy, the film is based on a truly incredible story of a mother who fights through every challenge her son faces and helps him live life to the fullest, a celebration of life.

Apart from Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, the film also stars Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj and Ahana Kumra in pivotal roles.

Aamir Khan had a cameo appearance in the film, ‘Salaam Venky’ marks Aamir and Kajol’s third film together. They featured together in the 2006 release ‘Fanaa’. They also co-starred in the 1997 film ‘Ishq’.

Presented by Connekkt Media and produced by Suuraj Sinngh, Shraddha Agrawal, and Varsha Kukreja under the banner BLIVE Productions and RTAKE Studios, Salaam Venky is directed by Revathy and was released in cinemas on December 9, 2022.

Meanwhile, Kajol will be next seen sharing screen space with Kriti Sanon in ‘Do Patti’.

Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, ‘Do Patti’ is produced by Kathha Pictures and co-produced by Kriti Sanon, also written by Kanika Dhillon and will stream exclusively on the OTT platform Netflix.

The film is set to take viewers on a thrilling suspense-filled ride like never before and transport audiences to the mesmerizing hills of North India, which serve as a backdrop for the mystery and intrigue to unfold. Filmmakers began the production of the film in Mumbai on August 18.

Kajol Celebrates Navratri In Orange Saree

Each day of the Navratri festival has a dedicated colour and significance attached to it.

As the first day is associated with the colour orange, Kajol took to Instagram and shared a few pictures of herself in a stunning orange saree.

Kajol’s festive look has garnered several likes and comments.

Shardiya Navratri is a nine-day festival dedicated to Maa Durga and her nine manifestations.

The first day, dedicated to Goddess Shailputri, signifies prosperity and fulfilment of wishes. Wearing orange on this day is believed to bring good fortune into one’s life.

Bollywood actor Kajol shared an introspective post on her Instagram which piqued the curiosity of social media users.

Taking to Instagram, Kajol dropped a photo of herself and asked fans to think about it.
She captioned the post, “#thinkabouthis. Isn’t it odd that we live in a society that encourages us to hide our goodness? Our masks are so that none can see that we are actually kind or compassionate or hurt by small things, sensitive or even scared.”

Bollywood actor Kajol shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story on Sunday which drew the attention of netizens.

Taking to Instagram, on Wednesday, Kajol dropped an artificial intelligence-generated photo of herself and asked who she looked like from the fans.
She captioned the post, “AI and me… any guesses who I look like … (The answer is in the person who’s tagged) There are too many eye rolls and not enough emojis…”

However, she tagged her daughter Nysa Devgan in the picture and revealed whom she looks like in the image.

The actor’s fans chimed in the comment section as soon as the picture was uploaded.

Taking to Instagram, Ajay who shares a great bond with his daughter dropped a collage of a couple of candid moments of father-daughter.
Sharing the picture, he wrote, “#FatherofMyPride. Happy birthday baby.”

Sharing the picture from the gala event of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre opening ceremony in Mumbai, the actor penned a sweet note.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay will be seen headlining ‘Maidaan’. Helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, ‘Maidaan’ is a sports drama dedicated to the golden years of Indian football.

Ajay is essaying the role of the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who is widely known as the founding father of Indian football. The film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh.

In 2020, producer Boney Kapoor had to dismantle the film set due to the lockdown imposed to curb the novel coronavirus pandemic. In May 2021, the set of ‘Maidaan’ was destroyed by Cyclone Tauktae. Finally, after facing several setbacks, the film is all set to release in theatres on June 23.

On Thursday night, Shah Rukh and Kajol attended the Red Sea Film Festival as their blockbuster ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ was the opening film.
Several images and videos from day one of the festival have surfaced online, and undoubtedly it’s a treat for SRK and Kajol’s fans to see the duo gracing the stage with their charming presence.
