Pran Pratishtha Of Ram Lalla Is Also That Of Human Values: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the newly-constructed temple is a symbol of national consciousness and the ceremony held on Monday to unveil the idol of Ram Lalla is also the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of human values and highest ideals.

Addressing the gathering after Pran Pratishtha of the idol of Ram Lalla here, PM Modi said that Lord Ram is the faith of India, the country’s foundation, its India and glory.

He said devotees of Lord Ram are completely absorbed in this historic moment which is “divine and holiest of all”.

“This is a temple of national consciousness in the form of Ram. Ram is the faith of India, Ram is the foundation of India, Ram is the idea of India, Ram is the law of India. Ram is the prestige of India, Ram is the glory of India…Ram is the leader and Ram is the policy. Ram is eternal. When Ram is honoured, its effect does not last for years or centuries, its effect is for thousands of years,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that the sunrise of January 22 has brought a wonderful glow.

“January 22, 2024, is not a date written on the calendar. It is the origin of a new time cycle,” he said.

PM Modi referred to the legal dispute over Ram Janambhoomi in Ayodhya which lasted decades and expressed his gratitude to the judiciary “for doing justice” .

The temple of Lord Ram, synonymous with justice, was also built in a just manner…Ram Lalla will not stay in a tent now. He will stay in the grand temple,” he said.

PM Modi said while it is an occasion to celebrate, it is also a realisation of maturity of Indian society.

“Today the land of Ayodhya is asking some questions to all of us, to every Ram devotee, to every Indian. The grand temple of Shri Ram has been built, now what next? The wait of centuries is over, what next? On this occasion of today, will we bid farewell to the gods and divine spirits who have come to bless us and are watching us? No, not at all. Today I feel with a pure heart that the cycle of time is changing,” he said.

“It is a happy coincidence that our generation has been chosen as the architect of a timeless path. The generation after a thousand years will remember our efforts of nation-building today. That’s why I say – this is the time, this is the right time. From today, from this sacred time, we have to lay the foundation of India for the next thousand years,” he added.

The Prime Minister said devotees of Lord Ram are completely absorbed in this historic moment.

“The devotees of Prabhu Ram, in every corner of the country and the world, are deeply feeling this. Today our Ram has come…After waiting for centuries our Ram has arrived. After centuries of unprecedented patience, countless sacrifices, sacrifices and penance, our Lord Ram has arrived,” he said.

“This moment is divine, this moment is the holiest of all! After the Bhoomi Pujan of Ram Temple, enthusiasm and excitement were increasing every day in the entire country,” he added.

The PM also said that Lord Ram is connected to the soul of India.

“Lord Ram resides in the hearts of Indians. Today, Ayodhya has not only witnessed the Pran Pratishtha of the sacred idol of Prabhu Shri Ram, but also the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the unwavering faith in Indian culture manifested in the form of Prabhu Shri Ram. Today, what has happened in Ayodhya is also the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of human values and the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the highest ideals!” he said.

PM Modi also sought forgiveness from Lord Ram for the delay in the construction of the temple.

“Today, I apologise to Lord Ram as something was lacking in our love and penance due to which this work (construction of Ram Temple) was not done for so many years. However, that gap has been bridged today and I am confident that Lord Ram will forgive us,” PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister walked into the temple premises with a silver ‘chattar’ (umbrella) placed on a red folded dupatta.

Wearing a cream-coloured kurta teamed up with a cream dhoti and patka, he took ‘Sankalp’ for the “Pran Pratishtha ceremony” and later moved to the sanctum sanctorum for the rituals.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present in the sanctorum during the rituals. Devotees and guests chanted ‘Jai Sri Ram’ during the ceremony. (ANI)

Modi Showers Flower Petals On Workers In Ayodhya

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday showered flower petals on the workers who were a part of the construction team at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister also sprinkled flowers on the idol of Jatayu at the Ram Temple premises and also offered prayers to Lord Shiva in Ayodhya Dham.

Prime Minister Modi, while addressing the dignitaries invited for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya said that the moment of unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol is an occasion not merely of triumph but humility too.

“This is a moment of celebration as well as the moment of a reflection of Indian society’s maturity. It is an occasion of not merely triumph but humility too. The history of the world is itself proof that many countries get strangled in their own history and such countries faced difficulties when they tried to solve their problems…but the way, our country untied the knots of history, is proof that our future is going to be more beautiful than our past,” he said.

The PM said that the construction of the temple which was supposed to ‘set off a firestorm’ is a symbol of peace, patience, harmony and integration of the country.

“There was also a time when some people used to say ‘Ram Mandir bana toh aag lag jaegi’ (the construction of the temple will set off a firestorm). Such people could not understand the purity of India’s social spirit. The construction of this temple of Ram Lalla is also a symbol of peace, patience, mutual harmony and coordination of the Indian society. We are seeing that this construction is not giving birth to any fire, but to energy,” he added.

The PM also said that Ayodhya’s temple is a temple of national consciousness in the form of Ram.

The Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony after the hour-long rituals in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who led the ceremony.

LDF, UDF Have History Of Scams: Modi In Kerala

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attacked the Congress-led UDF and the ruling CPI(M)-led LDF in Kerala for “corruption and scams” and expressed confidence that the state will play a role in BJP’s victory in the Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing ‘Shaktikendra Incharges Sammelan’ here, the Prime Minister said that positive outcomes of BJP’s transparent policies are clearly visible and the party gives priority to the progress of the poor, women, youth and farmers.

“According to a recent report, around 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the last 9 years. Whereas, for five decades, Congress only gave the slogan of ‘Garibi Hatao’. It shows that the path we have chosen for a Viksit Bharat is right…Lok Sabha elections are to elect the government of the country. We have to inform our voters that 10 years ago, there were terrorist attacks every other day which used to affect our investments and the people living in foreign nations. LDF (Left Democratic Front), UDF (United Democratic Front) has a history of corruption and scams,” he said.

“The priority of BJP is to increase the income as well as savings of the people of the country. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, around Rs 1 lakh crore of the people of the country have been saved. Till now, people have saved more than Rs 25,000 crore because of the Jan Aushadhi Kendras,” he added.

He lauded the efforts of BJP workers to make the party strong.

“We saw the potential of the Kerala BJP party workers during the Nari Shakti Sammelan in Thrissur. With my own experience, I can say that only a strong organisation can have such a huge conference. It shows that you are all putting in a lot of effort. BJP is the only political party that has a track record of fast pace development and vision for the future,” he said.

“It is always a happy moment for me to join the supporters of BJP who work to strengthen BJP in the state. Besides adverse situations, our party workers have made sure that the BJP shines. I want to salute all those party workers who stood with their ideology and stayed committed to their patriotism,” he added.

He urged party workers to focus on winning the booth, saying that it would pave for the party’s victory in the state.

“As elections come close, I am certain that Kerala is going to play a role in BJP’s win. Our first resolution should be ‘We will win our booth’. If we can win a booth, we can win Kerala. You have to work harder and pay attention to every voter. Creating a bond with the people of Kerala should be your priority. You have to bring everyone to ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ and help them join the drive of ‘Modi ki Guarantee’.”

The Prime Minister said that the confidence of Indians is soaring due to the policies of his government.

“The confidence of Indians is soaring as the world now talks of India as ‘Vishwamitra’. Our relations with Gulf countries have never been better. For this reason, there are more opportunities and respect for Indians in the Gulf region,” he said.

“We aspire to increase disposable income while helping reduce out-of-pocket expenditures for the people. Ayushman Bharat Yojana has helped people save Rs 1 lakh crore. The discount provided at Jan Aushadhi Kendras has helped people save over Rs 25,000 crore,” he added.

The Prime Minister said that the positive outcomes of BJP’s transparent policies are visible.

“Today, BJP has become a party of the people. It is the only party that has a track record of fast development and a clear vision for the future. The poor, women, youth and farmers are the four categories whose empowerment will lay the foundation for a Viksit Bharat. It is only the BJP which prioritizes the welfare of these people.

The Prime Minister said that the love and support of the people of Kerala motivates him.

“Earlier today, I visited the Guruvayur Temple to seek blessings of Lord Guruvayurappan and outside the temple, thousands of people gathered to shower me with their blessings,” he said. (ANI)

Modi Hails IMD For Its Exceptional Service To Nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hailed the India Meteorological Department for its exceptional service to the nation and said that the weather department has been instrumental in safeguarding lives and enhancing the understanding of the environment.

IMD celebrates its 150th year of service to the nation with yearlong celebrations commencing from January 15, 2024, to January 15, 2025.

Referring to this, PM Modi posted on X, “Today we mark 150 years of the India Meteorological Department’s exceptional service to our nation. From pioneering weather forecasting to advancing climate research, IMD has been instrumental in safeguarding lives and enhancing our understanding of the environment.”

Meanwhile, lauding the India Meteorological Department for issuing timely forecasts of weather events such as cyclones that helped save lives, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday said that the IMD’s impact extends beyond the borders as neighbouring countries also rely on its expertise as “evidenced” during cyclone ‘Mocha’.

“IMD’s impact extends beyond our borders. Our neighbours also rely on IMD’s expertise as evidenced during Cyclone Mocha. Our technological progress is also an important mechanism of soft diplomacy because relationships are defined by what a country has to gain from another in economy & technology,” Dhankhar said.

He also said that the MeT department is touching every life, be it- farmers farming the land or jawans guarding the borders.

Launching the yearlong 150th anniversary celebrations of IMD, Dhankhar said that the IMD acts as a safety net protecting our national interest, shielding our citizens from the wrath of nature.

“IMD is much beyond just weather forecast, and I am saying this because I am the son of a farmer. IMD acts as a safety net protecting our national interest, shielding our citizens from the wrath of nature, and of course, it is extremely useful for our security concerns. We have come a long way. From agriculture to healthcare, aviation to energy, it is present in our lives and with an affirmative stance. Farmers farming the land to jawans guarding the borders, IMD plays a critical positive role,” he added.

The Vice President further said that there was a time when rainfall forecasts proved to be incorrect, due to lack of scientific progress, but now the predictions are precise.

“There was a time when IMD used to predict rains and there were no rains because there was little scientific progress. Now so much is the precision, it is by seconds. We are proud of our scientists,” the vice president said. (ANI)

“The Prime Minister has decided this; there is no doubt about it,” the Congress MP said while speaking on Deora’s resignation.

Further, Jairam Ramesh remembered Deora’s father and veteran Congress leader, Murli Deora, and said that the latter stood by the party through thick and thin.

Further, Ramesh remembered Deora’s father and veteran Congress leader, Murli Deora and said that the latter stood by the party through thick and thin.

“He was a strong leader of our party and maintained good relations with all parties and party workers. He was a stalwart Congressman and stood by Congress through thick and thin. I remember him today,” the Congress MP said.

Mumbai Regional Congress Committee president Varsha Eknath Gaikwad called Deora’s decision unfortunate and said, “It is unfortunate that you have taken this decision, @milinddeora ji. On a personal level and as a Congress karyakarta, I feel sad today.”

“The Deora family has had a long & storied association with the Congress Parivar. All of us were trying to convince you against taking this step. The party leadership also reached out to you,” Gaikward said in a post on X.

“It is also regrettable that your announcement comes on a day when the party embarks on the historic #BharatJodoNyayYatra,” she added.

Congress leader Manickam Tagore shared a picture quote saying “Some people are willing to betray years of friendship just to get a little bit of the spotlight,” while reposting Deora’s post confirming his resignation.

Congress leader Ajay Yadav criticized Deora over his resignation on the day the party is going to start ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’.

“The timing of leaving the party is not right. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is starting today and Milind Deora should not have left the party on this day itself,” Ajay Yadav said.

Deora tendered resignation from the party’s primary membership earlier in the day.

Deora confirmed his resignation in a post on X, and stated, “Today marks the conclusion of a significant chapter in my political journey. I have tendered my resignation from the primary membership of @INCIndia, ending my family’s 55-year relationship with the party.”

“I am grateful to all leaders, colleagues & karyakartas for their unwavering support over the years,” he added.

He is likely to join Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena later in the day. Several party members are also likely to join Shiv Sena in support of Deora, the sources said. (ANI)
