Special Meaning Behind Kiara’s Customised Kaleeras

As Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani finally got hitched in a royal wedding in Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace, several glimpses from their grand marriage ceremony made their way on social media and be it their outfits or the jewellery, the newlywed couple stood out in every aspect.

For the ceremony, while Sidharth opted for an ivory sherwani with an exquisite royal lustre, Kiara donned a Manish Malhotra-designed pink lehenga, which featured intricate embroidery detailing of roman architecture. It was inspired by the special love the newlyweds share for the city of domes.
However, what stood out the most were Kiara’s dazzling customized kaleeras, which are umbrella-shaped dangling ornaments that are attached to the bride’s choodas. Mrinalini Chandra had designed Kiara’s kaleeras, which featured stars, moon, the couple’s initials and butterflies.

They also had a thoughtful dedication to Sidharth’s late pet dog and the newlywed couple’s favourite travel destination.

Meanwhile, Kiara’s neckpiece features an exquisite composition of ultra-fine hand-cut diamonds crafted with rare Zambian emeralds. She was seen wearing a diamond ring, prompting speculations that it is her wedding ring.

The couple got married as per Hindu traditions with band baaja and baraat. Famous ‘Jea’ wedding band from Delhi arrived at the venue on Tuesday.

Tinsel town’s most-awaited wedding of the year is finally over as Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani took sacred ‘pheras’ and tied the knot in presence of family members and close friends in Jaisalmer on Tuesday evening.

As soon as the news dropped online, Wikipedia in no time changed the marital status of the couple. However, the couple is yet to make it Insta-official.

Putting an end to months of speculation, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani finally tied the knot on Tuesday in Jaisalmer.

The wedding ceremony took place at Suryagarh Palace in the presence of close friends and family members.
The couple got married as per Hindu traditions with band baaja and baraat. Famous ‘Jea’ wedding band from Delhi had arrived at the venue on Tuesday. Sidharth made his royal entry at the wedding on the traditional ‘ghodi’.

Earlier in the day, several visuals from the wedding venue went viral in which some men in traditional pink outfits were seen holding floral ‘chhatris’ (umbrellas decorated with flowers).

Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Shahid Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Mira Rajput Kapoor were among the celebrities present at Sid-Kiara’s wedding. The couple wanted a private wedding and made sure no photos or videos leaked from the venue. Their wedding festivities started with haldi and mehendi ceremonies last weekend. A sangeet ceremony was held on Monday.

Kiara Advani reached Jaisalmer, Rajasthan with designer Manish Malhotra on Saturday for her speculated wedding with actor Sidharth Malhotra.

Bride-to-be was seen leaving the airport with Manish Malhotra.

Passing by the paps, Kiara was seen smiling and blushing before leaving the location.

Early in the day, Kiara was snapped at the Mumbai airport, where she flaunted her bride’s glow and was dressed in an all-white outfit with a bright pink shawl wrapped around her.

She opted for a metallic-hued bag. Kiara waved and smiled at the paparazzi.

If reports are to be believed, the two will tie the knot at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

On Friday, actor Kangana Ranaut has seemingly confirmed Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding.

Kangana took to Instagram Story and heaped praises on Sidharth and Kiara.

Sharing a video of Sidharth and Kiara from Shershaah promotions, Kangana wrote, “How delightful is this couple…rarely we see genuine love in movie industry…they look divine together.”

She tagged the duo and used emojis of an evil eye.

Kangana’s post comes at a time when the internet is abuzz with speculation about Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding.

Sidharth and Kiara have never talked openly about their relationship though they have not denied it. Siddharth Malhotra has found a new Kiara in his life. Yes, you read it right.

Siddharth who was spotted at the screening of his movie ‘Thank God’ on Wednesday, met a young fan, with the same name as his rumored girlfriend Kiara Advani.
The video was shared by a fan page with the user name @sidkiarafp.

In the video, the ‘Shershaah’ actor was seen taking pictures with fans outside a theatre in Mumbai when a little fan approached and the young girl’s mother informed Sidharth that her name is Kiara.

After hearing the name, the 37-year-old actor cutely reacted and posed for the picture.

As soon as the video went viral, netizens flooded social media with comments.

One of the users wrote, “Blushing Dekho Sid ka.”

Siddharth and Kiara have been rumored to be dating for quite some time. While they have yet to officially announce, Kiara who recently graced ‘Koffee With Karan 7’ stated that she and Sid are more than just friends.

Thank God is directed by Indra Kumar. Rakul Preet Singh is also a part of the film, which is the official remake of the Danish flick, Sorte Kugler.

The film was released on the big screen on October 25 and is currently getting positive audience feedback.

Rakul Preet Shares Parents Reaction To ‘Thank God’

Expressing her happiness and contentment over her recent role played, actor Rakul Preet who received an overwhelming response for her performance in the latest release ‘Thank God’, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn. In the film, she essays the role of a cop.

Sharing how her parents reacted to the film, Rakul said, “This is the earliest my parents have seen any film of mine let me tell you so they called me at 12 in the morning and my dad said this is your best film so far and I was like what really? And my dad felt that this generation would love this film and that families would love the film because it’s so true to our Indian families and culture. He took the number of my director and left him a long message saying thank you for doing this for this generation.”

Rakul also had the opportunity to see the audience’s reaction in theatres and was ecstatic with the response. She added, “Thank God I did surprise theatre visits and the audiences have come up to us emotional. They didn’t expect us in the theatres and they walked up to us stating how everyone really liked the film and how they are emotionally connecting with the film. All I can say is Thank God right now.”

The family entertainer minted Rs 8.10 crore on day 1 of the release, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

“ThankGod relied completely on spot bookings on the biggg #Diwali holiday… Although Day 1 biz is not proportionate with the names attached, the biz gathered speed towards evening onwards… Needs to grow/jump in the long, extended weekend… Tue Rs 8.10 cr. #India biz,” Adarsh posted on Twitter.

Koffee With Karan Hamper, Revealed

One question that literally every ‘Koffee with Karan’ fan wants to know, is ‘what is there in the Koffee hamper?’. And finally, on Monday, Karan revealed all the gifts that were given to the guests in the big coveted Rapid Fire Koffee hamper.

Taking to its Instagram handle, Disney+Hotstar shared a video featuring the host of the KWK show explaining the contents of this season’s Koffee with Karan Hamper.
