Tiger Unveils Devotional Song From ‘Ganapath’

After an electrifying trailer, makers of the upcoming action thriller film ‘Ganapath: A Hero is Born’ starring Tiger Shroff on Thursday unveiled the much-awaited second song ‘Jai Ganesha’.

Taking to Instagram, Zee Music Company treated fans with a song video and captioned it, “Vighnaharta ka saath…har pareshani ka samadhan! #JaiGanesha song out now “

With Tiger Shroff’s moves and unbeatable energy, the upbeat devotional song.

A few days ago, the makers launched the first song, ‘Hum Aaye Hain’, which has been trending across all platforms ever since its release. Continuing the musical journey of the film, the makers released the much-awaited ‘Jai Ganesha’ song. T

The high-on-beat song Jai Ganesha is sung and composed by Vishal Mishra, and the lyrics are penned by Akshay Tripathi.

Helmed by Vikas Bahl ‘Ganapath: A Hero is Born’ stars Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles.

Recently the makers unveiled the official trailer of the film which received decent responses from the fans.

The trailer begins with a voiceover introducing Tiger as the ‘chosen one’. The voice also says that he is a symbol of hope for people who are being oppressed. In the trailer, Tiger can be seen acting in high-octane action scenes. He is later joined by Kriti Sanon, who is an expert with nunchaku (a kind of weapon).

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also marked his special appearance in the trailer.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani shared his excitement about the project. “I’m thrilled by the incredibly positive response to the ‘Ganapath’ teaser and Hum Aaye Hain Song. It’s immensely satisfying to see that we have been able to live up to the vision we had for the film, and it has struck a chord with the audience. Now, I’m eagerly looking forward to the same level of love and enthusiasm in our viewers’ reactions to the trailer. We have so much more in store, and I can’t wait to unveil it all to the audience.”

The film is set for a worldwide release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on October 20.

Apart from this, Tiger will also be seen in the action thriller film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Akshay Kumar. (ANI)

Salman To Bring ‘Tiger Ka Message’ On Yash Chopra’s Birth Anniv

Get ready to receive a special message from Tiger a.k.a Salman Khan and the makers of the highly anticipated film ‘Tiger 3’.

Taking to Instagram, Salman shared an announcement poster with details on it.

He captioned the post, which read, “Ek message hai. Deta hoon…KAL.#TigerKaMessageKal11AM

As soon as Salman posted this news, fans and followers flooded then comment section.

One of the users wrote, “Love you Bhai, finally. TIGER3 MANIA FROM TOMORROW.”

Another commented, “Tiger is back.”

“Can’t wait for tiger 3 but over excited for bajrangi bhaijaan 2,” another user comment read.

Fans are expecting for the trailer to be launched tomorrow.

Makers will be launch the special video to pay tribute to the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra on his birth anniversary on September 27 (Wednesday).

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the details about Tiger’s message on Instagram.

He wrote, “SALMAN KHAN – KATRINA KAIF – ‘TIGER 3’: TIGER KA MESSAGE TOMORROW… ARE YOU READY?… #TigerKaMessage – a prelude to the theatrical trailer of #Tiger3 – will be launched TOMORROW [27 Sept 2023]… At 11 am IST.#SalmanKhan and #KatrinaKaif reunite in this #ManeeshSharma directorial… #Diwali2023 release in #Hindi, #Tamil and #Telugu. #YRF.”

Maneesh Sharma has helmed the film made under YRF banner. Reportedly, it also stars Emraan Hashmi as an antagonist. However, no official announcement of Emraan’s casting has been made yet.  

Salman and Katrina will reunite on screen after the 2019 film ‘Bharat’. Prior to it, the duo featured in hits like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Partner.

‘Tiger 3’ will hit the theatres this Diwali.

In October, Salman will be seen hosting the 17th season of ‘Bigg Boss’. (ANI)

Alia Bhatt To Star In Vasan Bala’s Next Film ‘Jigra’

Actor Alia Bhatt on Tuesday announced her next film with director Vasan Bala.

Titled ‘Jigra’ the film will be co-produced by Karan Johar and Alia herself.

Post the success of the romantic drama film ‘Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ Alia will be again seen joining hands with KJo for the new project.

On Tuesday, actor Alia took to her Instagram account and shared the announcement video of the film.

 “Presenting #Jigra, directed by the extremely talented @vasanbala and produced by @dharmamovies & @eternalsunshineproduction. From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, in many ways, it feels like coming full circle from where I started. Every day is a different day… exciting, challenging (and a little scary)… not just as an actor but also as a producer as we bring this film to life, and I CANNOT wait to share more as we move forward. JIGRA – in cinemas on 27th September 2024,” she captioned. 

Karan also shared the announcement video and captioned it, “The return of…my #Jigra, @aliaabhatt once again on this exceptional story helmed by @vasanbala. A story of unbreakable love & unshakable courage! JIGRA – in cinemas on 27th September 2024.”

The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 27, 2024.

Further deets about the project are still awaited.

Soon after the ace filmmaker shared the announcement video, fans swamped down the comment section and dropped red hearts and fire emoticons.

“Omg this is amazing,” a fan commented.

Another fan wrote, “Looks amazing.”

Director Vasan Bala previously helmed films like ‘Monica O My Darling’, a crime thriller film ‘Peddlers’ and ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’.

‘Jigra’ marks Alia and Vasan’s first on-screen collaboration.

Apart from this, Alia will also be seen in director Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.

Recently, in an interview with US-based publication Variety, director Farhan Akhtar shared that ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is on hold at the moment.

“We just have issues with dates, and the actor’s strike that’s happened has put Priyanka’s dates into a huge tizzy with what can happen and what can’t, so I’ve started genuinely believing that that film now has a destiny of its own. It’ll happen when it has to, we’ll see,” Farhan told Variety.

The film promises to be another tale of friendship in the lineage of ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. (ANI)

SRK Blockbuster ‘Jawan’ Mints ₹1000 Cr On Box Office

The highest-grossing Bollywood release this year and the fourth-highest of all time, superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer action-thriller ‘Jawan’ continued its marauding run across the global box office, surpassing a phenomenal Rs 1000 crore milestone worldwide.

Taking to Instagram, actor Sanya Malhotra shared this exciting news with her fans.

She captioned the post, “History in the maKING ft. Jawan! 🔥”

‘Jawan’ has redefined box office success, captivating audiences with its gripping storyline and stellar performances, and rewriting record books along the way.

With his previous release ‘Pathaan’ and now ‘Jawan’, SRK has become the first actor to have two films grossing Rs 1000cr each in a single year.

Post the success of the movie, the makers recently held a press conference in Mumbai.

The event was attended by SRK, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Atlee.

Sharing his excitement for the success of the movie, Shah Rukh said, “It’s a celebration. We rarely get a chance to live with a film for years. The making of Jawan has been going on for four years due to Covid and time constraints. There were a lot of people involved in this film, especially people from the South who came and settled in Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years and working day and night for this film, which is the hardest work ever.”

Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya make the stellar cast of the film, which his South helmer Atlee’s maiden Bollywood directorial.

Released on September 7, ‘Jawan’  marked the first collaboration of SRK with director Atlee.

The film received massive responses from the audience and has become the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film.

SRK also confirmed the release date of his upcoming movie ‘Dunki’ at the success event of ‘Jawan’.

“We started on January 26, Republic Day (with Pathaan), then on Janmashtami we released Jawan, now New Year and Christmas are round the corner, we will release ‘Dunki’,” the superstar said.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also stars Taapsee Pannu as the female lead.

‘Dunki’ marks the first collaboration of the ‘Chak De India’ actor with ‘3 Idiots’ fame director Hirani and ‘Pink’ actor Taapsee. (ANI)

Priyamani Recalls How She Came Onboard ‘Jawan’

Actor Priyamani is currently basking in the success of ‘Jawan’.

In the film, Priyamani portrayed the role of Lakshmi, a member of Shah Rukh’s all-girl squad. Her versatile performance undoubtedly depth to the film.

In an interview with ANI, Priyamani recalled what actually made her say yes to the film, which is directed by none other than Atlee.

“Atlee Sir told me about this story via Zoom and the session took 1-2 hours. I liked the story and told him that it was something new and different. It was giving a chance to women to perform action,” she shared.

Released on September 7, ‘Jawan’ crossed the Rs 900-crore mark in the global market. It is now eyeing Rs 1000 crore.

On this blockbuster box office collection, Priyamani said, “Honestly, I didn’t know it would be such a big hit…I’m glad that we are part of such a wonderful film.”

Besides Priyamani, ‘Jawan’ also features Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra among others.

Recently, actor Ridhi Dogra also opened up about her experience working in ‘Jawan’.

“THIS FILM IS A BLOCKBUSTER ! Is what I said every time I was on the sets of Jawan. You all are celebrating the film as a festival which makes me want to celebrate too with this loooong post. #towhomsoeveritmayconcern. I’m grateful beyond words for everyone acknowledging my bit in the film. It gives courage to an artist to keep taking risks and I thank you for that deeply. I am a feeling’s person. She also shared how it’s been like a rollercoaster ride for her to be a part of multiple projects, all at once.

“In between schedules for Asur/Badtameez Dil/Pitchers/Lakadbagha – Conducive spaces for me to showcase my characters comfortably… Jawan was a Test and a GOLDEN opportunity. As a person, I was on an emotional roller coaster and a mess to say the least. Being mostly alone during shoots didn’t help. But as a student of Cinema, it was a Dream Come True. I got to Observe and Learn and Soak it all in. Every time I was on set I was Like a kid in a candy story. In Cinema History !!! No where else I’d rather be.”

Ridhi called SRK her “favourite co-star.””Lastly, As a Fan ! Well. I was speechless or dumbfounded. And the old age prosthetics didn’t help my swag AT ALL.But to see Shah Rukh on set. His dedication. His patience. His focus. His commitment to the larger picture was just such a Privilege.I know i got a Lifelong answer to ‘who’s your favorite costar’ !!!The entire crew and all the teams have so passionately and selflessly worked on it. ‘Jailer’ Actor G Marimuthu Passes Away Due To Cardiac Arrest

Renowned director-actor G Marimuthu passed away on Friday due to cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Chennai.

He died of cardiac arrest today around 8:30 am at a private hospital in the city.

Marimuthu collapsed while dubbing his voice for a television serial. Then, he was rushed o a private hospital in Vadapalani, where he was declared dead.

Actor’s fans, family members and friends pay tribute to him at his residence in Chennai.

He will be taken to his native place in Theni District by 6 pm today and last rites will be performed.

Marimuthu was recently seen in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailer’ movie.

After learning of the filmmaker’s death, the members of the film industry took to social media to pay their condolences.

Sun Pictures, which produced ‘Jailer’ took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and posted, “Condolences! Your work has been impeccable and irreplaceable. Rest in peace #Marimuthu.”

G Marimuthu began his career as a filmmaker with ‘Kannum Kannum’ in 2008. In addition to directing films, he has played a number of interesting roles in Tamil films. He collaborated with lyricist Vairamuthu in the early stages of his career. In Tamil films, he also served as an assistant director.

His memorable performance include ‘Vaali,’ ‘Jeeva,’ ‘Pariyerum Perumal,’ and ‘Jailer,’ to name a few.

He has been a part of the Tamil television series ‘Ethir Neechal’ since 2022. Marimuthu was a YouTube sensation whose opinions trend on social media platforms. (ANI)

Madhuri Recalls ‘Khalnayak’ As It Re-Releases In Theatres

Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit-starrer iconic movie ‘Khalnayak’ is re-releasing in theatres on September 5 to celebrate 30 years of the film. 

Madhuri felt ecstatic about it and said, “Congratulations to Mukta Arts, Subhash ji and the whole team of ‘Khalnayak’ on completing thirty years. We had a great time filming the movie. It is still fresh in people’s minds. Thank you for all the love you have given to ‘Khalnayak’ and hope you enjoy watching it again in theatres.”

 ‘Khalnayak’ is remembered as one of the biggest hits of the 1990s, and it has since gained cult status. The action crime drama, written, directed and produced by Subhash Ghai under Mukta Arts Limited, was released on August 6, 1993. It stars Sanjay Dutt (as the villain), Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff.

Dutt plays the anti-hero Ballu, Shroff as police officer Ram, and Madhuri as undercover cop Ganga in the film.

Previously, Sanjay took to his Instagram handle to congratulate the team on the completion of thirty years of the film. He wrote, “I want to congratulate Subhashji one of the greatest directors of the Indian screen, Jackie dada for being the perfect Ram and Madhuri for being Ganga, and the entire cast and crew of #Khalnayak, I am grateful and proud to be a part of such an iconic film, and cherish every moment of it. 30 years and yet it looks like a film made yesterday, thank you Subhashji and Mukta Arts from making this film and me being a part of it, thank you once again. The movie is known for its music and ‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai’, sung by Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun, is still liked by the audience. It received positive response from the critics and movie buffs. At the 39th Filmfare Awards, ‘Khalnayak’ received 11 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director (Ghai), Best Actor (Dutt), Best Actress (Dixit), and Best Supporting Actor (Shroff), and won two awards – Best Female Playback Singer (Alka Yagnik and Ila Arun) and Best Choreography (Saroj Khan), both for the song ‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai’. Parineeti To Portray Singer Amarjot In Imtiaz’s Next

Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra is all set to portray singer Amarjot Kaur in director Imtiaz Ali’s next film.

After a two-year hiatus, director Imtiaz Ali is all set to return to the director’s chair with an upcoming film based on the life of Punjabi singer Amarjot Kaur.
According to a source, the makers of the film are all set to begin the shooting of the project in Mumbai, on December 11.

The official release date of the film is still awaited.

The film marks Parineeti and Imtiaz’s first on-screen collaboration.

Imtiaz Ali last helmed the film ‘Love Aaj Kal’ which starred Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, and Randeep Hooda in the lead roles which failed to impress the audience at the box office.

Parineeti, on the other hand, was recently seen in the family entertainer film ‘Uunchai’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher.

On receiving positive word of mouth about the film, Parineeti said, “I am truly so humbled and honoured at the success of Uunchai, I have gone through many ups and downs in my career but success like this and love from the audience like this just makes you feel that they continue to believe in you and appreciate you. I am going to give a big party very soon to celebrate this love that the audience is giving me.”

Helmed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film got massive responses from the audience and is successfully running at the theatres.
