Having Matured Conversations About Sex, Lust Is Key: Mrunal

Actor Mrunal Thakur is being praised for her performance in ‘Lust Stories 2’.

Helmed by R Balki, the movie delves into the significance of lust and sex in nurturing successful relationships, with Mrunal’s on-screen dynamic with Neena Gupta’s character as the grandmother highlighting the film’s compelling narrative.
Sharing her views on lust and sex, Mrunal said, “I strongly believe that having matured conversations about sex and lust is key, especially when one is young and growing up. When one is a young adult, they have a role model who instils the right knowledge and information to a young person.”

She added, “If all young and impressionable minds, including kids within families, have at least one person they can have honest discussions with about these topics, they will be less likely to seek a plethora of misinformation from the outside world.”

In the film, Mrunal portrays a soon-to-be-wedded woman who finds herself humorously confronted by her grandmother about her perceived “lust quotient” with her future partner (essayed by Angad Bedi).

In the coming months, Mrunal will be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Deverakond. The yet-to-be-titled film is being helmed by Parasuram Petla and is being produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Mrunal Thakur’s Next Project With Vijay Deverakonda

Actor Mrunal Thakur is all set to start working with South superstar Vijay Deverakonda in an upcoming film. Mrunal continued to broaden her horizons after starring in popular films with actors like Dulquer Salmaan and Nani. She now collaborates with Vijay. The actor shared a picture with Vijay and expressed her excitement for her new project.

The film is being helmed by Parasuram Petla and is being produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.

On the work front, Mrunal started her career with TV and during her college days got the lead role in ‘Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan’. Later, she signed the most popular show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and also appeared as a contestant on ‘ ‘Box Cricket League 1’ and ‘Nach Baliye 7’.

She was also seen in a titular role in the international film ‘Love Sonia’. In 2022, she became part of ‘Jersey’ opposite Shahid Kapoor and made her Telugu film debut opposite Dulquer Salmaan in Hanu Raghavapudi’s ‘Sita Ramam’. (ANI)

Vijay, Samantha Look Cute In Kushi’s Teaser

Makers of the film ‘Kushi’ starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda dropped the teaser of the first romantic single.

Sharing the teaser, he wrote, “Kushi. 1st song. Full song out on May 9.”

In the video, Vijay can be seen adoring Samantha Ruth Prabhu who is busy offering her prayers.

The video opens with Vijay standing on the edge of a cliff with open hands while facing his back towards the camera.

The music is composed by Hesham Abdul. Na Rojaa Nuvve in Telugu, Tu Meri Roja in Hindi, En Rojaa Neeye in Tamil, Nanna Roja Neene in Kannada, and En Rojaa Neeye in Malayalam are the names of the first single, which is anticipated to be a love song.

On the occasion of Vijay Devarakonda’s birthday which is on May 9, the first romantic track will be released.

According to the poster, the film appears to be a love story set in Kashmir.

Earlier, the film tentatively named ‘VD11’.

After ‘Mahanati’, this will be Samantha and Vijay’s second project together and also it is Samantha’s second collaboration with filmmaker Shiva Nirvana, who previously collaborated with her on ‘Majili’.

Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya are among the cast members of the film.

‘Kushi’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada theatres on September 1.

Meanwhile, Vijay will be seen sharing screen space with Sreeleela in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s new film, which is tentatively titled ‘VD 12’. (ANI)

Deverakonda Turns Santa, Announces All Expenses-Paid For Fans

Every Christmas actor Vijay Deverakonda surprises his fans with his special thanksgiving gesture #Deverasanta. Christmas 2022 was no exception as the ‘Arjun Reddy’ star announced an all-expenses-paid trip for his 100 fans.

Taking to social media, Vijay created a poll on his social media for his fans to help him choose the destination for travel to offer to his fans. He asked if his fans want a trip to — Mountains of India, Beaches of India, Cultural trip of India, or deserts in India.
“#Deverasanta, a tradition I started 5 years ago. This year I have the nicest idea so far. I am going to send 100 of you on an all-expenses paid holiday. Help me in choosing the destination. #Deverasanta2022”

Vijay’s post left his fans excited. They flooded his Twitter post with likes and comments.

“Best Christmas gift…Thank you, Anna,” a social media user commented.

“Mountains or just meet me anywhere,” another user wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay’s last release Liger, which was aggressively promoted as a pan-India project, bombed at the box office, earning less than Rs 100 crore. The film marked Vijay’s Bollywood debut. He will be seen in the upcoming romantic drama Khushi, alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film is supposed to release in 2023.

Vijay is all set to team up with Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri for a new project. However, an official announcement regarding the same is yet to be made. (ANI)

ED Questions Vijay Over Funding Of Liger

Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday questioned actor Vijay Deverakonda in connection with the funding of the film ‘Liger’.

According to sources, Vijay was questioned in a case related to an alleged FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999) violation.
Vijay was recently seen in a sports action film ‘Liger’ alongside Ananya Panday which failed to impress the audience at the box office.

Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film also stars Ramya Krishnan. The film revolves around a young guy, Liger (Vijay) and his widowed mother Balamani (Ramya Krishnan), who have come from Telangana to Mumbai because she wants to see her son become a national MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) champion.

Vijay underwent mixed martial arts training in Thailand while he prepared for his character in Liger. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. Besides Telugu, Vijay has dubbed his lines in Hindi as well. The film marked American boxer Mike Tyson’s Bollywood debut as well.

Meanwhile, the actor is preparing to make a grand comeback from his next Pan-India action thriller, ‘Jana Gana Mana,’ slated to be released in 2023.

Reportedly, the ‘Arjun Reddy’ actor is about to begin shooting for his next film ‘Jana Gana Mana’ with director Puri Jaggannadh.

The ‘World Famous Lover’ will also be seen in an upcoming romantic drama film ‘Khusi’ alongside south actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, which is all set to hit the theatres on December 23, 2022. (ANI)

One question that literally every ‘Koffee with Karan’ fan wants to know, is ‘what is there in the Koffee hamper?’. And finally, on Monday, Karan revealed all the gifts that were given to the guests in the big coveted Rapid Fire Koffee hamper.

Taking to its Instagram handle, Disney+Hotstar shared a video featuring the host of the KWK show explaining the contents of this season’s Koffee with Karan Hamper.

In the eight-minute-long video, the Karan listed all the products that the hamper winners of Season 7’s rapid-fire round took home.
