Singham Again: Arjun Kapoor’s First Look Unveiled

Director Rohit Shetty on Wednesday unveiled the first look of the actor Arjun Kapoor from his action film ‘Singham Again’.

Taking to his Instagram handle, he posted a series of pictures with the first one showing Arjun’s face splattered in blood. The second photo shows him with Simmba, aka Ranveer Singh.

The ace actor also shared his first look from the film.

Helmed by Rohit Shetty ‘Singham Again’ also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. ‘Singham Again’ is the third instalment of the super-hit franchise and the film is all set to hit theatres on the occasion of Independence Day 2024.

‘Singham’ was released in 2011, starring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in lead roles, followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014. Both projects were declared box office hits.

In an interview with ANI, Shetty said, “I did ‘Simmba’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ and then the pandemic came for two years because ‘Sooryavanshi”s end is linked to ‘Singham’, we had to wait for almost three years to start shooting for the film.”

Rohit Shetty who enjoys shooting in Hyderabad and Goa has finished some of the shooting for ‘Singham Again’ at the Ramoji studio in Hyderabad “It’s a huge studio and the kind of work I do…car chases, action and all that…so for that, I need that kind of place. There are not many restrictions and I love that place. You stay there in the studio and you shoot there..it’s kind of boarding school… there is discipline..within two minutes you are on a set.”

Talking about the role of Ajay Devgn and whether he will reprise the character of Inspector Bajirao Singham, Shetty said, “He is upgraded now, although he is playing an officer but on a bigger level. He has a different mission altogether from the government.”

“Then there is Ranveer and Deepika,” he said

“They all come from a different region. It’s not like in one police station. The film travels. It travels from Mumbai to South till Rameswaram and forward from that,” reveals Shetty. (ANI)

Anil Turns 67, Daughters Sonam, Rhea Shower Love

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor on Sunday turned 67.

Marking his birthday, his family members including daughters Sonam, Rhea and nephew Arjun Kapoor flooded social media with heartfelt wishes.

“Happy Birthday Dad! the world knows you as the evergreen Super star who never ages, our industry knows you as the most consistent, hardworking and talented actor of the last four generations , but for your family you’re the best husband, father and grandfather, who leads by example of openness, hardwork, gratitude and love. No one like you @anilskapoor you literally are the best in the world,” Sonam wrote on Instagram.

She also shared Anil’s cute pictures with her son Vaayu.

Rhea took to Instagram and wrote, “What a year, what a guy. Yet you are at your best when you lift everyone around you up, never let us down and always encourage us to dream bigger and bigger. I am fearless because I have you. I love you so much dad, you make me a better everything.”

Arjun Kapoor took a stroll down memory lane and shared one of his interviews with Anil Kapoor.

“Love being next to you, love you chachu !! Happy birthday @anilskapoor,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anil was last seen in Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. In the film, Anil portrayed the role of Ranbir’s father. Directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, the film hit the theatres on December 1.

Earlier this year, he also wowed fans with his role in ‘The Night Manager’. In January 2024, he will be seen sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in ‘Fighter’. (ANI)

Aditya Calls Ananya Pure Joy, Bliss

Actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Arjun Kapoor graced the famous ‘Koffee’ couch in the recent episode of the popular talk show ‘Koffee with Karan Season 8’.

During a conversation with the ‘Aashiqui 2’ actor KJo addressed the rumours of him dating actor Ananya Panday to which he wittily replied, “You see Karan you said on your show ‘Ask me no secrets and I’ll tell you no lies.”

Karan also told Aditya that in the earlier episode of ‘KWK 8’ Ananya said on she was feeling “very Ananya Coy Kapur,” to which the ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ actor said “And I am Aditya Joy Kapur as of now.”

“You mean you’re joyously in a situationship?” Karan asked Aditya to which he replied, “I’m quite joyous”.

Karan also asked him the first word that comes to his mind when he say Ananya is “joy”?. To which, Aditya responded, “Joy, pure joy and bliss”.

Ananya and Aditya have been rumoured to be dating for some time. It all began when the two made a joint appearance at Kriti Sanon’s Diwali party last year. However, neither of them has confirmed the reports.

The two also reportedly visited Maldives recently to celebrate Ananya’s 25th birthday.

Malaika’s Cryptic Post Amid Rumoured Breakup

Actor Malaika Arora, on Tuesday, shared a cryptic post amid breakup rumours with Arjun Kapoor.

She took to Instagram Story and posted a quote that said, “A woman becomes a reflection of how you treat her. If you don’t like how she’s acting, look at how you are treating her.”

Recently several media reports suggested that Arjun and Malaika have now parted ways and the ‘Gunday’ actor is now dating social media influencer Kusha Kapila

However, the duo shut down their breakup rumours as they stepped out for a lunch date and were even captured by Mumbai-based paps.

In the viral pictures, Malaika is seen donning an all-white look. She opted for a schiffli white shirt which she paired with lacy white shorts and matching shorts. Arjun looked uber cool in a black t-shirt that he paired with black cargo pants and a black beanie.

Because of this, their fans were extremely happy.

“Thank God. Break-up reports were not true,” a social media user commented.

“They look so good together,” another one wrote.

But, people are again doubting whether they are in a relationship or not after this cryptic post.

Malaika and Arjun have been dating for over four years now. The couple made their relationship official when Malaika shared a sweet birthday post for Arjun in 2019. They have been dishing out a major couple goals ever since.

Arjun Kapoor Denies Rumours Of Malaika Pregnancy

Delhi Has Been A Lucky Charm, Says Arjun

Actor Arjun Kapoor, who has commenced shooting for his untitled film’s Delhi schedule, recently revealed how the national capital has always been tremendously lucky for his film career.

As per reports, Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bhumi Pednekar are coming together for a romantic comedy film directed by Mudassar Aziz for which the trio has completed the London schedule.
Although an official announcement from the makers of the film is still awaited.

Arjun said, “Delhi has always been special to me and it has been a hugely lucky charm for me. I shot 2 States, Ki & Ka, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar in the national capital and all these films turned out to be some of the most special films in my filmography and gave me tremendous recognition that I’m grateful for.”

He added, “So, I’m excited to be back in Delhi to shoot my next and I hope that Delhi will add its magical touch and make this film again a stand-out one for my career in cinema.”

Arjun, who is on a strict diet as he continues his physical transformation, is looking forward to his cheat day when he can gorge on the Delhi delicacies.

Arjun said, “Since I’m very fitness-forward these days and want to achieve a certain body type soon, I won’t be able to gorge on the Delhi delicacies but I have convinced my trainer to allow me a day of cheat meals in Delhi.”

He also shared, “I am waiting for the day when I can have my Bua’s Ghar ka khana and the local chaat. I’m looking forward to this outdoor schedule in Delhi where I can relive my childhood summer holidays and enjoy my cheat and treat meal and spend time with my family here.”

Arjun and Bhumi will also be seen in director Ajay Bahl’s upcoming film ‘The Ladykiller’.

Arjun Pulls Janhvi’s Hair In Childhood Pic

Arjun Kapoor’s heart swelled with pride after watching his younger sister Janhvi Kapoor’s performance in latest release ‘Mili’.

On Friday, Arjun took to Instagram and penned a note for Janhvi that’s filled with praises and love.

“You continue to make me prouder @janhvikapoor! Your growth as an actor, as a star is phenomenal… And you are just getting started which is really, really exciting,” he wrote.

Arjun added, “You are brilliant in #Mili – what a spine-chilling act! I wish it does phenomenally well and you get all the love that you truly deserve. Love you lots.”

Alongside the heartfelt note, he dropped a few images of himself with Janhvi.

The first picture is from Arjun and Janhvi’s childhood days. In the image, Arjun is seen pulling his little sister’s hair while Janhvi flashes her cute smile.

The second image seems to be the latest one in which they are seen posing for a stylish photoshoot.

Replying to Arjun’s post, Janhvi commented, “Love you.”

While Arjun and his sister Anshula are Boney’s children from his first marriage to late Mona Shourie, Janvhi and her sister Khushi Kapoor are Boney’s kids from second marriage to late actor Sridevi.

Earlier this year in March, Arjun on Janhvi’s birthday acknowledged that he wasn’t with Janhvi since her early years and promises to be with her forever now.

“I know I wasn’t around for quite a few birthdays but now you’re stuck with me for life,” Arjun had posted.

Speaking of ‘Mili’, it is the Hindi remake of the filmmaker’s 2019 Malayalam hit Helen. Said to be based on true events, the film traces the struggles of Janhvi as Mili, who races against time to stay alive inside a freezer. Mathukutty Xavier has directed it. Besides Janhvi, Mili also features Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in key roles. It is Janhvi’s first professional collaboration with her father Boney Kapoor, who backs the film. (ANI)
