He said that Janasena TDP is needed for good governance and development of Andhra Pradesh.

“TDP is a strong party and Andhra Pradesh needs the Telugu Desam Party for good governance, for the development of the state. Today TDP is in a struggle we will support them. TDP needs Janasainks young blood support in this situation.

“If TDP and Janasena join hands YSRCP will be submerged in the state,” Pavan Kalyan said in a public meeting held at Pedana, in Krishna District.

On September 14, Pawan Kalyan had visited Chandrababu Naidu in the Rajahmundry Central Jail where the latter has been lodged after he was sent to Judicial custody in a “skill development scam”.

“The entire meeting was extremely good and we discussed Atmanirbhar Bharat, skill India. And from our (party) side I promised PM Modi that we will stand by his vision and we will give our best” Pawan Kalyan had said.

Pawan Kalyan had also proposed an alliance of TDP, BJP, and his party in Andhra Pradesh) to fight YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. The BJP had yet to make a decision on this.

“Arguments were heard from both sides in today’s sessions,” he had said.

The former Andhra Pradesh chief minister and TDP chief was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on September 9 in connection with the multi-crore skill development scam case.

INDIA Alliance

Like Snake And Mongoose, Tejasvi On Opposition’s INDIA Alliance

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya has described the Opposition alliance as a “snake and mongoose coming together.”

“The alliance is like snake and mongoose coming together. Before the formation of the INDIA Alliance, these people used to secretly do anti-Hindu politics. They used to do anti-Hindu and anti-India politics by wearing the burqa of secularism. But today they are openly speaking against Sanatan culture and Sanatan Dharma,” the BJP Yuva Morcha National President told reporters in Narmadapuram on Monday.

The Bengaluru South MP further said that DMK says the INDIA alliance was created to eradicate Sanatana Dharma. Elsewhere, another ally tries to break the Hindu community on caste lines.

On September 2, Udhayanidhi, who is also Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s son, while, addressing a ‘Santana Abolition Conference’ said, “Uprooting Sanatan Dharma is upholding humanity and human equality.”

He compared Sanatan Dharma to diseases like dengue, malaria, or the Coronavirus and said, “Few things cannot be opposed; those should be abhorred only. We cannot oppose dengue, mosquitoes, malaria, or corona; we have to eradicate them. That’s how we eradicate Sanatana. Rather than opposing Sanatana, it should be eradicated.”

DMK leader remarks created a political slugfest in the country with leaders of political rivals NDA and INDIA alliance taking potshots at each other. (ANI)

Cong Dividing Women On Caste Lines: Modi In C’garh

Taking the attack to the Congress in Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday accused the ruling party in the poll-bound state of dividing women on the lines of caste.

Further, in a veiled dig at the Congress, which has flagged concerns over the non-provision of an OBC sub-quota, PM Modi hailed the women’s reservation law as a path-breaking legislative effort whose will be felt over the “next thousand years”.

In a further swipe at the Congress, he said the central government, under his leadership, fulfilled one more “guarantee” by bringing a law that had been hanging fire for the last 30 years.

“Our government fulfilled one more pormise that we had made to the people. Under the women’s reservation law, 33 per cent of seats in the Lok Sabha and state legislatures would now be set aside for women. Nari Shakti Adhiniyam is now a reality under the BJP rule,” PM Modi said while addressing a ‘Parivartan Maha Sankalp Rally’ in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur.

“Our President, Droupadi Murmu, signed it into a law yesterday. Amid all the statements from the Opposition, our mothers and sisters need to remember that this law had been pending for the last three decades,” PM Modi said.

He added that the Congress is worried how this piece of legislation has brought about unity among the women while making them aware of their rights.

“The Congress and its allies are rattled and upset since this legislation secured passage in both Houses of Parliament. They are only worried about the electoral fallout, fearing that the women will shower their blessings on Modi. Afraid of the oneness and awareness that this law has brought about among our women, the Opposition have now resorted to dividing them on the lines of caste. This is nothing but a poll gimmick,” PM Modi said.

“The impact of this law will be felt over the next thousand years. I would urge the women not to fall for the lies of the Opposition,” he added.

PM Modi said only Rs 300 crores were allocated for railways in Chhattisgarh during the previous Congress rule at the Centre. “But this year, we raised this outlay to Rs 6000 crores. This is the ‘Modi Model’, this is a token of my affection for Chhattisgarh. This is my commitment to Chhattisgarh’s development,” PM Modi said.

He also underscored the allocation of a Vande Bharat Express to Chhattisgarh.

“It is the BJP which gave the Vande Bharat train to Chhattisgarh,” PM Modi said. (ANI)

BS Yediyurappa further said that CM Siddaramaiah and Irrigation Minister DK Shivakumar were behaving like Tamil Nadu agents so Karnataka was facing the crisis.

BJP Member of Parliament from Bangalore South Tejasvi Surya said that Karnataka must stop water that is being released to Tamil Nadu.

“Karnataka government has completely failed in putting forth proper details to the Cauvery Water Regulation Committee (CWRC) committee. Showing fingers towards to central govt is not going to work. Central official work has been done. Now it is in the hands of authorities and the Supreme Court” he said.

BJP MLA BY Vijayendra Yediyurappa said, “The present Congress govt has not taken the Cauvery issue seriously. Farmers are literally on the streets and day by day the water is flowing to Tamil Nadu.
